Overview of Web Design Choices

At foubography.com, the web design prioritises a clean, professional aesthetic that reflects the brand’s commitment to quality and creativity. The layout is user-friendly, with intuitive navigation allowing visitors to easily find information about our services, portfolio, and consultation options.

Main Design Features

  • Visual Hierarchy: The use of large, impactful imagery alongside concise text ensures that key messages stand out. This aligns with our branding strategy by showcasing our photography services as core to the business.

  • Colour Scheme: A neutral palette is employed to convey professionalism while allowing the vibrant, engaging images from our portfolio to take centre stage. This balance is essential for creating a coherent brand identity.

  • Typography: Simple, modern fonts are used to enhance readability and give a contemporary feel to the site, reinforcing the brand’s focus on innovation.

Integration with Branding Strategy

The web design choices are not merely aesthetic; they serve to strengthen our overall branding strategy.

Brand Design

The website incorporates our brand design elements seamlessly. Consistent use of logos, colour schemes, and fonts across all pages fosters brand recognition and trust. As visitors navigate through the site, they experience our brand identity, leaving a lasting impression aligned with our mission to help creatives stand out in the music industry.

Logo Design

The logo is prominently placed on all pages, serving as a focal point that reinforces our brand. It encapsulates our identity and ethos, while also being adaptable for various applications from digital to print, ensuring a cohesive presence across all platforms.

SEO Strategy

An effective SEO strategy has been implemented to enhance online visibility. The site architecture is designed with search engine optimisation in mind, featuring:

  • Keywords: Careful selection of industry-relevant keywords integrated throughout the website’s content helps attract potential clients.

  • Meta Tags: Each page is optimised with relevant meta tags to improve search engine rankings.

  • Responsive Design: Ensuring the website is mobile-friendly aids in user experience and contributes positively to SEO efforts.

Social Media Strategy

Across social media platforms, the branding is consistently mirrored, with design elements from the website translated into our profiles. This cohesive approach ensures that users recognise our brand across channels. Key components of this strategy include:

  • Content Sharing: High-quality visuals from our photography services are regularly shared, driving traffic back to the website.

  • Engagement: We promote interaction through audience engagement posts that reflect our brand personality while providing value to our followers.

  • Cross-Promotion: Links to the website are included in social posts, creating a seamless connection between our online presence and services.

Foubography Branding Strategy

Sarah Foubert

I’m a photographer and Squarespace web designer based in Altrincham, South Manchester. I specialise in portrait, landscape and opera photography and also offer a “complete website package” where I can offer headshots, photos of your business and design your new website so you can manage it yourself afterwards.

Over the years I’ve built a portfolio career as a professional photographer, opera singer, wardrobe assistant and singing teacher. I have a MMus from the RNCM, a Bachelor in Theatre Sciences and Musicology from Ghent University and I’m a qualified teacher. When my son was born in 2021 I quickly realised that an opera career wasn’t as compatible with being a mum as much as I would like, so I decided to change my focus completely to photography and web design.

I prefer working with daylight in casual surroundings while having a chat making sure you’re at ease and relaxed. It’s the little moments in between that make the best shots!

Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to work with me!
